Vietnam's first stem cell bank, which will store 3,600 umbilical cord samples, is to open in April this year, according to the Chinese Xinhua news agency, citing a local media source. The project will be based in Ho Chi Minh City as a joint venture between the locally-based Mekophar Chemical Pharmaceutical Co and Singapore's Cord Labs.
