Vivalis opens viral vaccines plant in France
l Vivalis, the biotechnology subsidiary of the French Grimaud group, has opened a new plant near Nantes for the production of viral vaccines and therapeutic proteins for human applications in Phases I and II clinical trials. The products are intended to prevent or treat viral diseases and certain forms of AIDS and cancer. Vivalis will fund the project from capital raised.
