W-L's Procanbid Cleared In USA
- Warner-Lambert's twice-daily procainamide product Procanbid has been cleared for marketing by the US Food and Drug Administration. The drug is indicated for treating life-threatening ventricular arrhythmias. It is the only procainamide product to offer twice-daily dosing. Others need to be taken at least four times a day. Procanbid will be launched in March, in 500mg and 1,000mg tablet forms.
