Walgreens.com tops best US on-line pharmacy poll

A joint research project of the US Consumers Reports and the Health Improvement Institute, HealthRatings.com, has ranked pharmacy chain Walgreens as having the best overall on-line retail operation. It also came top in terms of the number of users, compared with rivals CVS and RiteAid. The three sites scored highly on privacy and Walgreens' was commended for ease of use.

However, all three sites examined scored poorly on disclosure of advertising and sponsorship policies, said the Consumers Union, which publishes Consumer Reports.
