Washington DC offers free Rx discount cards
The District of Columbia, USA, has announced that it is offering prescription drug discount cards at no cost to all the US capital's residents, providing them with an average saving of 20%.
The program, administered by Caremark Rx, is in place in 41 US states and is accepted in nearly all pharmacies. According to the Mayor's office, 75,000 residents of Washington DC are uninsured.
