- Roussel Uclaf and the CFDT and CFE/CGC Trade Unions have agreed to reduce weekly working hours from 38 to 35 hours, effective June 1, 1997. Salaries will not be affected, however, the profit-sharing scheme may be revised, says the company. The agreement also involves the recruitment of 700 permanent staff in France.
