Judge Caroline Baker of the Harris County District Court in Houston, Texas, USA, has granted pharmaceutical major Wyeth's motion for summary judgment and dismissed the case of Brockert versus Wyeth, which was to have begun trial on February 5. The plaintiff in the Brockert case alleged that she had developed breast cancer as a result of her use of the firm's Prempro (conjugated estrogens/medroxyprogesterone acetate tablets).
