New Jersey, USA-based drug major Wyeth has promoted Joseph Mahady to president of its Pharmaceuticals division, effective January 1 next year. Mr Mahady, who also becomes a Wyeth senior vice president, was previously president of Wyeth Pharmaceuticals global business operations. In addition: Richard DeLuca has been elected president of the firm's Ford Dodge Animal Health business, replacing Thomas Conran; Cavan Redmond becomes president of Consumer Healthcare; and Denise Peppard has been named as senior vice president of human resources.
